Hello again. I have been very busy with spring gardening, home repair and upkeep as well as my ebay store and of course Doll Repair. Here are a few new before and afters for you.

This little boy was shot. He was crumbling and falling apart.

Here he is with a new start. His owner wanted him to be durable and safe to play with for her granddaughter. She loves him.

Next up is a bisque doll who was dropped. She needed a lot of help.
I reassembled and reinforced her legs (seen in the baggie above)
I fixed the breaks in the shoulder and neck area and put her back in her dress.

This is a new service I am offering. UV stain removal. This doll has sharpie on her face which the owner smeared around when trying to remove it with acetone.
after multiple days in the UV chamber she is ready for a new face paint.
Here she is finished!

Here is a 1940's Magic Skin latex doll who needed new limbs and clothes.

This is an example of what the doll would have looked like before when it had limbs.

This is the actual doll where I have added composition arms and legs with fabric thighs.

I have sewn a new dungaree and t-shirt for him.

Owner is happy to have his boy back. He got it from his Mom back in the 40's and will be giving it to his now adult daughter.

Here are a few of the many repairs I performed in 2018.

This was a full composition restoration.
 Before
 During and After

This is a My Child doll. Her nose and upper lip were worn off and her hair cut.
I gave her a complete makeover with custom painted eyes and new hair.

This was a rubber baby doll who's eyes had become frosted and rusty.
I cleaned, painted and reassembled them.

This is a Shirley Temple who needed minor crazing touched up, new shoes and minor clothing repair.

Anne needed restrung, new wig and
 pretty blue custom dress.

This is a well loved seal plush.
I gave him a thorough cleaning, fluffed the remaining fur and patched all the damaged areas
His owner was very happy to see him after this emergency treatment.

Merry Christmas.

Her is a repair I did this month. The angel's head was completely shattered.
I sculpted and painted this replacement head and added it to the existing body.
Voila!
