Composition is a wonderful medium when taken care of. However this beauty was kept in an attic. A big No No for Composition doll owners. With heat and humidity varying drastically season to season the wood expands and retracts until most of the paint chips off.

Here I have removed the paint, filled the divots and holes, sanded and repainted .
