Tiny Tears doll bodies from American Character were made of a rubber that crumbles over time. This one was falling apart. The owner agreed to replacing the body with one from an Effanbee doll with a similar sculpt. 

     The plastic of the head has the dreaded sour milk smell. I usually put a drier sheet inside the head. The smell will never go away due to it being caused by the plastic breaking down. This at least covers it up. 

     In order for the head to fit the new body, I augmented it with Apoxie sculpt to narrow the neck opening.   The head and eyelids were cleaned and repainted.
